What year and model pioneer do you have? I just rechecked 16-2020 honda service manual, and 2018 owners' manual bothers say, "Insert the dipstick into the engine without screwing it in." If their is a year discrepancy, I definitely wanna get that noted.
Just changed the air filter 2016 1000 Pioneer, with Honda part just like you said patience when feeding the new gasgets around rim. It took a couple of times feeding them around to get the stretch out to fit perfectly. Plugs Next Great video Thanks
@@jimmysapien9961 you should be able to hold a light to the back side of the bottle in a darker area to see the level. Also you can pull the cap and see or stick some type of dipstick to check level. Out side of the reservoir which needs proper level, you can also check the radiator level too, but make sure it's cool before you pull the radiator cap.

One other point I got A 5mm USA made 9 inch allen wrench on Amazon 4 bucks made it super simple
